GSA 8(a) STARS Governmentwide Acquisition Contract (GWAC)

Telecommunication Solutions Group, Inc. (TSG) was awarded the 8(a) STARS Government Wide Acquisition Contract (GWAC) on June 1, 2004. The 8(a) Streamlined Technology Acquisition Resources for Services (STARS) GWAC is a small business set-aside contract for technology services. 8(a) STARS is a multiple award, indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity contract vehicle.

It contains a 3-year base with two, two-year option period. TSG’s functional area designated for the contract is 541512 – Computer Systems Design Services. The contract allows for directed task orders up to $4 million each for federal civilian agencies and Department of Defense. The program has a ceiling of $15 billion; tasks are non-protestable; task orders are compliant with Section 803 and 8(a) credit can be transferred back to the agency via FDDS. The geographic coverage is Continental United States and some worldwide.

On November 16, 2010, TSG was notified by GSA that they would be extending the current STARS contract (GS06F0202Z) from May 31, 2011 through November 30, 2011.  The order duration will remain the same.  All task orders must be complete no later than May 31, 2014.
